About Christine
Christine has a lifelong passion for everything having to do with birth, newborns and the formation of a new family. For over 20 years now, Christine has been involved in the field of newborn families. She has experience as a N.I.C.U doctor, a doula, a childbirth educator and currently, she is an independent IBCLC Lactation Consultant making home visits. Christine is also a parent of two young boys, which is an important part of her experience, too.

As a doctor in her native Germany, Christine worked in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Her particular research was on the effectiveness of Kangaroo care for prematurely born infants. She trained at Boston Children's Hospital to become certified as a NIDCAP* Trainer for health care professionals. *(http://nidcap.org/en/)

Christine became certified as an IBCLC in 2015. She is a preferred provider with Aetna and makes home visits in the Boston area. Christine is also a ‘Birthing From Within’ childbirth mentor and life coach. She offers classes for groups as well as for individuals in their homes.

Seeing families grow, including her two boys, inspires her every day.
